Yes, it almost seems as if the sexual tension is canon, but there is also the obvious hints that Sportacus dearly likes Stephanie more than anyone else.

Nods... there is that whole potential side of things too. I do like Sporta/Steph as well... as long as she's older of course! Heheh!

Sportacus clearly loves Steph, but as a sister or a best friend, nothing more. However I can see Steph crushing on Sporty. Who wouldn't? Haha!

Of course, but in the case of Iceland, the age of consent is 14, while it's 16 in the US/UK. Things get tricky this way, but not impossible.

I can see Sportacus loving Steph as a sister or friend, but only in the television series, whereas there is a different atmosphere to their relationship in 'Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ.' There wasn't much to read in 'Áfram Latibær' because of how much more Elf-like Íþróttaálfurinn is compared to any other incarnation we see afterwards. But that's just my opinion.

I believe because Stephanie was played by a woman, it gives a different vibe, though I am not sure what you mean by different atmosphere, as I personally can still see just the platonic relationship between them.

If Stephanie was played by a child in the 2nd stage show, it would be different, wouldn't it?

However I can understand Stephanie's attraction to Sporty, and why people like to pair adult!steph with our blue hero. ^^
